Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Valor AI, you agree to follow these Terms of Service and all applicable laws.
2. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions
United States Only: ValorAI is available exclusively to users located within the United States. By using this service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are physically located within the United States
- You are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally present in the United States
- You will not access the service from outside the United States
- You will not use VPNs, proxies, or other technologies to circumvent this geographic restriction
We can restrict, suspend, or end access for users who do not meet these requirements. We can also end access for users who access the service from outside the United States.
3. Use License
We give you permission to use our services. This permission is limited. It cannot be transferred. Your use depends on these terms and your subscription status.
4. Subscription and Payments
- Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew until canceled
- You can cancel a paid subscription through Account Settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals, but does not automatically refund prior billing periods unless required by law
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Fees are for software access, AI usage, document storage, workflow tools, and support availability
- Fees are not tied to VA benefits, back pay, rating increases, claim approvals, or any other VA outcome
- ValorAI does not charge a percentage, multiple, success fee, contingency fee, or outcome-based fee for VA benefits activity
- ValorAI does not monitor your VA benefits to trigger invoices or collect fees based on changes in your VA payments
- Refund requests are reviewed by support@tryvalor.ai and handled according to applicable law and the product terms shown at purchase
5. VA Claims Assistance and Accreditation Boundary
Self-service software only: ValorAI provides education, organization, document analysis, draft preparation tools, and user-controlled workflows. ValorAI is not the Department of Veterans Affairs, a VA-accredited representative, a VSO, an attorney, or a VA-accredited claims agent.
- ValorAI does not represent you before the VA and does not create a power of attorney, agency, attorney-client, representative, or fiduciary relationship
- ValorAI does not prepare, present, prosecute, or file VA claims as your representative or on your behalf
- Draft forms, claim-prep worksheets, suggested evidence lists, AI outputs, and human review notes are user-controlled materials for your review, correction, and independent decision-making
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, signing, and deciding whether to submit any form or evidence to the VA
- Any VA submission path in ValorAI is a user-directed self-service workflow. ValorAI does not sign, certify, or submit as your agent
- Human review, when offered, is an educational document-readiness review unless we clearly state that a separate accredited representative program is available
- If you want representation or help presenting a claim to the VA, use a VA-accredited VSO, attorney, or claims agent. You can learn more on our claims assistance boundary page
6. VA Benefits Report Feature
Our free VA Benefits Eligibility Report feature follows these terms:
- Accuracy: You confirm that any DD-214 or military documents you upload are real and belong to you
- Limited Purpose: Information from your DD-214 is used only to generate your DD-214 analysis, benefits eligibility report, claim plan, draft forms, and ValorAI user profile
- AI Processing Consent: By uploading a DD-214, you consent to ValorAI and its AI service providers processing the uploaded file content, extracted text, and related service-record information to generate your requested analysis
- Saved Results: If you sign up, claim a report, or choose a saved workflow, generated reports, extracted fields, and draft claim data may be stored in your account so you can return to them later
- No Legal Advice: The benefits report is for information only. It is not legal or professional advice
- Regulatory Information Currency: VA regulations, policies, and court decisions, including provisions of 38 CFR and case law such as Ingram v. Collins, can change frequently and may take effect immediately without advance notice. Reports, claim plans, drafts, and other information generated by ValorAI may not reflect the most current legal standard at the time you view or rely on them. Always verify current requirements with VA or a VA-accredited representative before filing.
- Not an Accredited Representative: ValorAI is not a VA-accredited representative, Veterans Service Organization (VSO), attorney, or claims agent, and does not represent you before VA. Nothing ValorAI provides constitutes legal representation or accredited claims assistance under 38 CFR Part 14.
- No Guarantees: Eligibility assessments are estimates based on general VA criteria. They do not guarantee approval for any specific benefit
- Official Determination: Only the VA can make official eligibility decisions. We recommend contacting the VA directly for official guidance
- Anonymous Reports: Reports generated without signing up will be automatically deleted after 24 hours
